Depuis le début de la pandémie de COVID‑19, les secteurs d’intervention de Dre Morrison et son équipe ont été nombreux. Leur dévouement, calme et professionnalisme ont été reconnus par les citoyens de l’Île. L’accès à de l’information en français a été très apprécié par la communauté acadienne et francophone. En effet, les renseignements importants durant les points de presse, sur le site web du gouvernement et aux points de contrôle ont été offerts en français.

Pour ces efforts remarquables et remarqués, le Réseau Santé en français Î.-P.-É. a présenté à Dre Heather Morrison et son équipe le prix honorifique Étoile Santé.

Ce prix est une façon pour le Réseau Santé et la communauté acadienne et francophone de reconnaître leurs efforts continus durant les derniers mois.

Le Réseau Santé leur offre ses plus sincères remerciements pour avoir permis à de nombreux Insulaires francophones de mieux comprendre les renseignements diffusés, de mieux faire face à cette crise sociale et de se sentir davantage en sécurité. ENGLISH : Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Morrison and her team have worked tirelessly in many areas. Islanders took note of their commitment, composure and professionalism, and the access to information in French was greatly appreciated by the Acadian and Francophone community. Press briefings, government Web pages and various checkpoints all offered important information in French.

After witnessing these outstanding efforts, the PEI French Health Network has chosen to present an honorary Étoile Santé award to Dr. Morrison and her team.

The award is a way for the French Health Network and the Acadian and Francophone community to recognize everyone’s hard work over the past few months.

The French Health Network would like to take the opportunity to sincerely thank these individuals for helping many French-speaking Islanders feel safer, have a clearer understanding of the information and better navigate this social health crisis.  The award is explained on the plaque MERCI here.

Alongside the award, the French Health Network prepared a photo album containing messages from members of the Acadian and Francophone community thanking Dr. Morrison and her team. These messages have also been compiled into a short video that can be seen here.
